Description

Blue Lotus is a water lily that grows along lakes and rivers. Its is native to Tanzania. The Blue Lotus is depicted in ancient Egyptian art and was found scattered over Tutankhamans body when the pharaohs tomb was opened in 1922. Originally thought of as symbolic it is believed that ancient Egyptians may have used this to induce ecstatic states.
