Description
We now have in stock Mimosa verrucosa seeds from Brazil.
Cultivation advice:
A hot stratification technique can be used to help germinate these seeds. Boil some water and leave to cool for approx 5 mins ( approx temp = 60-70c ). Then pour this water into a container ( preferably with a lid ). You can then put your seeds into this water and put the lid on, leaving it for several hours. Seeds ready for germination will 'inflate' and can be planted immediately or also left to soak overnight before planting. Seeds that have not inflated can have this process repeated either immediately or left to soak over night, germinating inflated seeds and repeating the process the next day for any that have not inflated.
Sowing these seeds in a heated propogator is also recommended.
