Description
Banisteriopsis caapi is one of the traditional ingredients in the Ayahuasca brew. It has been found to contain MAOI's. In ayahuasca Banisteriopsis caapi is combined with another plant that has been found to contain the tryptamine DMT. This plant is traditionally P.Viridis but other DMT containing plants have been used. Strict dietry requirements are adhered to in the days and hours before and after ayahuasca is consumed ( for more information we strongly suggest you research MAOI dietry requirements and restrictions ).
Spiritgarden offers 'Ourinhos Caapi'. The English translation of this name would be “little gold”. The name is attributed to the golden coloration of the final brew made with it. This is a very powerful strain used in most of the official ceremonies of the Santo Daime, Uniao do Vegetal and Barquinha churches in Brazil.
We offer mature vines aswell as much older huge pieces of vine.
This Caapi has been harvested in a sustainable fashion.
